What was said around it

Zillow now forecasting less than a 1% price increase through 2027. As a result, the National Association of Realtors is now calling this the most balanced housing market in almost a decade, where neither buyers nor sellers have the clear upper hand anymore. Of course, there are additional proposals currently in the works to bring more buyers into the market, including executive orders that would lower mortgage rates, bring down the cost of building, and eliminate institutional buyers. But, I'll tell you, as someone who's been involved in real estate since 2008, I don't think any of these are going to have a lasting effect whatsoever. And in terms of what to expect long-term, here's just what I'm saying. People who bought in 2022 and 3 are beginning to realize those prices aren't coming back overnight. Price reductions are becoming a lot more common. Homes are sitting on the market for longer, and buyers actually have room to make a lower offer because some areas just don't have a lot of competition. The only downside I see is that some homeowners have locked in insanely low mortgage rates in 2020 and 2021. So, if they ask a high price and they don't get it, they don't sell. But, for everybody
