What was said around it

was still less than the rest of the market but I would have had to wait until that entire dip played out purchase the company at the very bottom that seems unrealistic to me in most cases Costco has proven that it doesn't dip that much or that frequent and you should buy the company when it does dip that's what I've been doing over the past 5 years so you can see through these illustrations why I'm so reluctant to give up my shares every way I try to think through it every mathematical way just keeps me very resistant to selling out of this company Maybe will be the exception maybe Costco will drop 40 50% but I think that that's unlikely so I'm not suggesting that Costco's a good buy I'm certainly not buying it right now but as far as I'm concerned I'm just going to let this compounding machine compound because I still believe 10 years out this company will be a lot bigger than it is today now next we have news of a company that I don't cover that often I view it as a very kind of speculative difficult bet it's a company that's trying to compete with Tesla which is rivan Automotive the stock was up around 15% over the past week it's still down 39% year-to date so this is a struggling

“in my opinion Costco will not be the fastest growing company in the market it won't be the best performing company in the market but it will be in my opinion a market beating company over the next 20 years I think it will outperform the S&P 500 over a 20-year basis”

“i have a strong expectation that since they open up the same amount of stores every single year 25 to 30 and their capex spending isn't going to be increased in fact it's going to play a smaller portion of their revenue that they have to increase the amount of dividends that they're paying either on a quarterly basis or the special dividends”
