because sure a lot of people will probably lose their money on GameStop but for a lot of those same people they're not buying GameStop to make money they're not buying it as a long-term investment for their retirement they're buying it for what it represents a movement against Wall Street specifically a movement for full transparency and fair practice I know it's one of the reasons why I bought into the stock and why I've held on to it ever since it's not because I'm under some illusion that this stock will be worth thousands and end up making me millions in fact this stock will probably end up losing me a lot of money or it'll maybe go to zero but that's not why I bought the stock I bought the stock because I like it and what it represents about the stock market and how it actually works as long as short sellers continue to manip manipulate the market and hide their data and as long as retail investors continue to pay attention this will be a very interesting stock about what it exposes about the stock market and its practices that really need to be reformed I'd love to hear your thoughts about what's happening do you like the stock and are you buying it let me know down in the comments below
